Hurtgen Forest - Garrasa

me and the team went to play at the Hurtgenwald forest scenerio at paintball kingdom. during the first 4 hours, it was kinda slow, and not much really happened. i got 3 kills/0 deaths during this part. after a quick nap, food, and a quick morale boost. we all got geared up and headed out for the last 2 games of the day (long ones) once we got to the German base (us) we got our missions and things we needed to do. the German side was split into 3 groups. 1 headed to the fuel depot, 1 went straight for the city that they occupied earlyer in the game, and 1 team went to control the mine (us) as we got to the mine, their was no sign of enemy resistance, so we took control of it fairly easy. after that we went to the fuel depot. their was no one there, so we thought that they got the points already. then after a short hike up a hill and enemy fire in the distance. me and adam got to the left side of the hill whare we helped assault the town. we went through the grass, to a building, over some bags and to the building whare we cleared it all out military style :) then once we got points for the capture, we sent runners to the front to set up sentry posts. after 3 minutes everything was cut-short by a runner running back screaming we got a large companie of enemy troops coming twards the base. all my guys lowered their masks and went into their defensive positions. we all awaited the approch of the enemy force. our AT guy went up close as possible to be in-range of a big bunker just inside of the woods. I stayed near a large box inside the compound. after enemy contact was made, our guys held strong. we had 10 people holding left flank, and 12 people holding right flank. as we started fighting the enemy, our AT guy shot his only round at the enemy bunker. it misstd and he sat low so he wouldnt get shot (he had no other weapon). so just above him i see some rustle in the bushes. and some in-direct fire coming from the woods, so i fire back at him. i hit him on the 3-4th shot and he calls himself out. so i duck behind the bunker i was at and wait a few seconds before poping my head out to scan the area for enemy troops. i see a rustle in the bushes whare i shot the guy so i figured that their was a second tango in the woods. i shoot a few more rounds at him and he yells "IM HIT IM HIT!! I THINK I BROKE MY ARM!!!" so then i stop firing and call a ref to go assist him. the ref pulls him out and walks him accross a line of heavy fire without getting shot. then i hear another cry from our AT gunner. it seems his leg got a huge cramp and couldnt move. with the enemy closing in, i ran forewards to help the guy, i asked him if he needed help, if he was ok, and if he needed any help back tward the main house in the center of the compound/town. he waited for the cramp to go down and then crouched, i started giving him covering fire while he limped back to the main house. after that, i stayed in that position for the remainder of time. a couple of times i poke my head up, see 5-6 yellow balls coming at me and duck down before getting shot. i hear a loud CRACK sound like glass breaking, and look around to see if everyone is ok. i see no trouble with my men and go back to trying to fight the enemy. when the 10 minutes are up we sucessfully defended the town from the allied charge. everyone was ok, and no one was hurt (to a degree). when all the fighting was done, they called a final meet to anounce MVT/MVP. when all that was done, the scores were readoff and the Germans had won the day!
